About IMAGE

The IMAGE Lab is located in Rolfs 410. To use the lab, you must be an instructor currently teaching or preparing to teach in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and you must request IMAGE access from your department's computer contact.

The lab contains a variety of Windows NT, MacOS, and Solaris workstations optimized for production of multimedia. The Lab also has a scanner, a CD burner and some capacity for video capture (VHS and LD).

IMAGE users can access any files in their "home" directories by connecting to the CLAS NetWare server.

Policies

Here are a few of our general use policies for the IMAGE lab. Remember that all use must conform with CLASnet and UF computer use policies.
