To change the title printed over the reference listing, change the
value of the reference name (reference name is for articles) or the
bibliography name (used for books and reports). The value of these
must be changed in the preamble. The command to change the reference
name is:
\renewcommand{\refname}{Reading List}
The command to change the bibliography name is:
\renewcommand{\bibname}{Reading List}
Here the "reading list" would be the word or words you want for the title that gets printed over the reference listing.
The formatting specifications of the BIBTeX styles are based on the standard settings for journals and books from a variety of publishers and you can pick which one to use by name.
The /opt/tetex_1.0.7/share/texmf/bibtex/bst lists the ones installed on the CLAS system. Please make sure to look in each of the directories to see the specific styles installed because CLAS has a variety of styles already installed.
