Rollovers are images that change when the reader's mouse passes over them (like the one above). Normally, you need to put javascript in your pages to accomplish this effect. Fireworks automates that entire process. You can also "slice" an image so that only part of it changes when the mouse passes over it. These pages give you detailed instructions for making rollover images.
Once you've mastered these processes, you can export your rollovers and integrate them to web pages using Dreamweaver.
